ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Campus Ambassador, you are a dynamic, proactive, responsible, and mission-aligned individual who plays a significant role in Teach For Cambodia’s recruitment and marketing efforts in enlisting Cambodian top talents to join the Teach For Cambodia Fellowship Program. You will be a part of a network of leaders from over 50 countries around the world in the collective mission to create awareness for the challenges and opportunities in education. You will take the initiatives to lead and execute campus-based recruitment strategies from your universities to attract, identify and inspire Cambodia’s future leaders to join the Fellowship Program and make an impact on the lives of Cambodian children.

AT A GLANCE

  • Current undergraduate, post-graduate students and recent university graduates seeking an exposure to the fields of leadership, education, talent acquisition, social impact, marketing and communications. 
  • Candidates of all majors are qualified to apply
  • Minimum criteria: 3rd year student 
  • 7-month commitment starting in December 2019, or immediately
  • Seeking 15 participants 
  • Part-time (minimum of 10 working hours per week)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

LEADERSHIP

Be proactive to recruit, select, train and manage Campus Leaders to expand the network of Campus Leaders

As a leader, take ownership of the team’s well-being to ensure a collaborative and result-driven work environment

Address and problem-solve issues and challenges faced by the Campus Leader team under your supervision

 
TEAM MANAGEMENT
  • Create opportunities for Campus Leaders to grow professionally and personally
  • Monitor your team’s progress to goals
  • Manages a positive team culture by reinforcing motivation and drive towards Teach For Cambodia’s mission and values.
STRATEGIC PLAINING
  • Develop recruitment strategies within your campus portfolio in accordance with the organization’s objectives and procedures.
  • Plan and execute a plan to address the needs and gaps in the team
RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
  • Drive partnerships with external stakeholders from youth groups, university staffs, government officers and so on to increase awareness of challenges and opportunities in education and Teach For Cambodia

KEY MEASURE OF SUCCESS

  • Number of recruitment events or activities on campus planned and executed (to be further discussed with your recruitment managers)
  • Number of target prospects recruited (to be set and discussed with your recruitment managers)
  • Number of participants coming to offsite TFC’s workshops and events ( to be set & discussed with the recruitment managers)

ELIGIBILITY

  • Minimum 3rd Year student currently studying in any university in Cambodia
  • Candidates of all academic majors and career interests can apply
  • Be able to work for 8-10 hours per week depending on schedules
  • Prior experience is not required
