ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Campus Leader, you are Teach For Cambodia’s ambassador to support our recruitment and marketing team. You will join a network of leaders from over 48 countries around the world in the collective mission to create awareness for educational inequity. You will assert your leadership and work with your team towards building awareness on university campuses and recruiting Cambodia’s future leaders to apply for the Teach For Cambodia Fellowship. Depending on your strengths and interests, you will support us in various functional areas where you will grow a unique skill set.

AT A GLANCE

  • - Current undergraduate students seeking an exposure to the fields of leadership, management education, social entrepreneurship, startup, marketing and communications
  • - Candidates of all majors are qualified to apply
  • - Minimum: 3rd year student (Fresh grads are welcome to apply)
  • - Minimum 6-month commitment starting in January 2019
  • - Seeking 3 - 4 Senior Campus Leaders
  • - Part-time allowance of $150/month and Full-time allowance of $300/month

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

LEADERSHIP
  • Be proactive to train and manage Campus Leaders plus strengthen the network of Campus Leaders
  • As a leader, take ownership of the team’s well-being to ensure a collaborative and results-driven work environment
  • Address and problem-solve issues and challenges faced by the Campus Leaders team within your campus
TEAM MANAGEMENT
  • Develop personal growth opportunities for Campus Leaders
  • Monitor your team’s progress to goals
  • Manage a positive team culture by reinforcing motivation and drive towards Teach For Cambodia’s mission and core values
STRATEGIC PLAINING
  • Develop recruitment strategies within your region in accordance with the organization’s objective and procedures
  • Plan and work to address the needs and gaps in the team
RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
  • Drive partnerships with external stakeholders from the corporate companies, youth groups, university staffs, government officers and so on to increase awareness of educational inequity and Teach For Cambodia
WORKING AND REPORTING WITH DATA
  • Plan and conduct research and/or survey to deepen organization understanding of respective campus
  • Manage, evaluate and report progress-to-goal to the team and organization

KEY MEASURE OF SUCCESS

  • - Build and manage a high-performing mission-aligned team of Campus Leaders that aligns with TFC's core values
  • - Develop recruitment strategies to recruit outstanding candidates from diverse academic and social background to meet out annual goals
  • - Develop effective outreach strategies to increase brand awareness of TFC and the Fellowship program

  • Can I apply for both Senior Campus Leader and Campus Leader?

No. You can choose only one because each position requires different commitment and competency levels.

  • What is the application process?

Application process has two parts:

  1. 1. Online Application
  2. 2. Interview

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview. If you pass the interview, you will be invited to the training!
