The Teach For Cambodia Fellowship is a 2-year full-time, funded leadership + master's degree program for Cambodia’s top talent to unleash their professional and leadership potential while committing to full-time teaching in the classroom. Teach For Cambodia Fellows will be placed in low-resourced public schools and be supported for two years through our intensive leadership development and training support.
We recruit and select talented Cambodian university graduates, young professionals, and existing teachers with diverse backgrounds and majors to become our fellows. We look for leaders with a growth mindset and extraordinary leadership potential and skills. Fellows are not required to have teaching experience when applying to the fellowship program. If selected as a fellow, they will be trained at our 8-week intensive Leadership Training Academy to prepare them for the classroom. It doesn't stop there; they will be supported throughout the 2-year fellowship program by experienced coaches and mentors to ensure they can lead their classrooms and have a positive impact on their students.
The stakes are extremely high for Cambodia’s primary and secondary education system given that two-thirds of the country’s population are under the age of 30. The role that Teach For Cambodia Fellows play as classroom teachers is as important and urgent as the role they play as long-term leaders and advocates for expanded educational opportunities for all.
